30 Day Challenge Yourself

The 30 Day Challenge is hard. As relaxing and rejuvenating as yoga can be, getting to the studio can be a quest in itself (especially in this winter weather). I know how difficult it can be to drag yourself out from the warm covers, put your feet down on those cold floors and go somewhere you don’t have to go. It is all too tempting just to curl and furl those troubles away. But, it is in that struggle that we find strength. With the season of resolutions you’ll need that strength to keep moving towards your goals in future months.

Sometimes we need a kind of external force to push our boundaries – and the 30 Day Challenge is meant to do just that. This year we have our 30 Day Challenge happening from January 25th to February 23rd. To participate, you must activate your 30 Day Challenge pass by January 30th, 2017. Participants must complete 25 classes in 30 days to be eligible for the prizes. If you complete your card and the 25 classes you will receive:

  • 15% off of your next workshop or package
  • A complimentary pass for friends/family
  • A chance to win one of ten prizes and a grand prize valued at $200

If you commit to the challenge you are creating an opportunity to show yourself what you are capable of. Whether or not you complete the challenge, you will likely come to yoga classes much more often than you would have otherwise. You will find that you put your willpower to use more than usual and, like anything that you exercise, it will become stronger. As they say – practice and all is coming. Once it all comes, observing the changes in your practice will be incredibly rewarding. You’ll soon find that you don’t need to look elsewhere for motivation because all the inspiration you need will come directly from you! Accessing this internal motivation creates a snowball effect – attending classes more frequently will allow you to build rapidly upon what you have learned, and seeing your progress will motivate you to attend more classes and further advance your practice. It is through difficulty that we experience ease – ease of mind, body, routine, or connection. When you establish a regular practice, though it may be difficult at first, you will soon find that yoga will come easily to you in all aspects of life

We already have a great turnout this year and would love to encourage everyone to participate in the challenge! If you have a monthly membership you can participate at no cost, simply register with our front desk staff. There is no penalty if you don’t complete the challenge so you have nothing to lose! Plus, you can take up to two classes a day if you are feeling super keen or know that you will be missing a couple days. Unfortunately, the Intro package is not valid as part of the 30 day challenge, but for those of you that don’t have a monthly membership, we offer a 30 day Challenge package for $120 +HST. Prize and Grand Prize winners will be announced in studio and on Yoga Tree’s social media channels on February 25th, 2017. Looking forward to seeing you all in the studio!
