A Brief Word on our Teacher Training

When it comes to yoga, the possibilities for enriching and deepening your practice are endless. Yoga is a journey, a never-ending learning process that can transform you in mind, body, and soul, heightening your awareness of your Self and the world around you. At Yoga Tree, one of the most powerful ways to deepen your yoga practice is through the Teacher Training Program, a weekend intensive starting January 14th, 2014.

The Program is not only geared towards preparing students for the beginning of their lives as teachers, but it is also tunes into the work that students are taking part in to create their own path in yoga. For those excited to become teachers, the program will allow all students to teach in heated and non-heated classes. Alternately, those desiring to gain a better understanding of their practice will graduate with a stronger foundation for their future life as a yogi.

Training focuses on three disciplinary lineages; Classical Hatha, Ashtanga, and Hot Yoga. In addition, students will gain extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and yoga philosophy. The course will also include meditation practice, a key element to the yogic journey, and pranayama (breath control). With all of these elements combined, students are trained to create their own journey and will be enlivened by the beauty of their practice.

Our winter session will be taking place at the Yonge and Eglinton location, 40 Eglinton East, 8th floor. To learn more about the specific dates for the program, please visit our web site at www.yogatree.ca.

See you all there! Namaste!
