Here at Yoga Tree Thornhill, we reserve half the class capacity for online booking. Reservations are confirmed by pre-payment online, and is accessible to individuals with active membership programs.

Walk-in spaces are always available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Unfortunately, phone reservations cannot be accommodated.

9:30 AM - 10:45 AM Reduced Heat L1Similar to hot yoga, the temperature is set 10 degrees less at 28 degrees. This class can be used to prepare you for Hot Yoga classes if you are timid of the heat. The heat will promote detoxification of the body and will allow a deeper stretch into the muscle tissues, ligaments and tendons. *Remember to bring a bottle of water and towel to place on mat Amanda

Amanda O'Malley


Discovering her love for yoga over 10 years ago in the Canadian Rockies, Amanda’s journeys taught her to breath and appreciate life’s offerings. Her path has continued over the years practicing many styles of Yoga and more recently began to practice with her daughter as she found the rewards in teaching children. Enjoying the balance that Yoga offered and wanting to challenge her personal practice and gain a deeper knowledge lead her to pursue her certification through Yoga Tree. Experiencing the benefits of Yoga on the mind and soul encouraged Amanda to share her passion and offer her students a class that helps to create confidence and inner strength. Amanda’s class’s express her love for Yoga and encourages her students to find their own personal appreciation and breathe in their moment!

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Hot Yoga L2A more vigorous class than Hot Yoga level 1, yoga postures are performed in a radiantly heated room to 38 degrees Celsius. The heat will promote detoxification of the body and will allow for a deeper stretch into the muscle tissues, ligaments and tendons. If you're timid of the heat, a beginner or have any heart conditions try the reduced heat instead until you feel comfortable with the heat. *Remember to bring a bottle of water and towel to place on mat Jason

Jason Lu


As the principal instructor at Yoga Tree, Jason is best known for his authentic and no-nonsense approach to yoga. Jason offers unique seamless-sequencing, challenging his students to reach their full potential in each yoga practice. In his level 2 classes, Jason will guide students to balance their strength and flexibility, challenge gravity, and introduce arm balances as which are part of his foundation asanas. In his level 3 classes, students will play with the foundation asanas, exploring new variations, deep backbends and inversions. Jason is also an ambassador for Lululmeon Athletica promoting yoga benefits to the greater community.

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM Hatha Flow L2A more vigorous class than Hatha level 1, we start off with a number of sun salutations to warm up the body and to get the heart rate elevated. This class includes static poses to stretch the muscles and balance poses to work on focus and balance. The class ends with a cool down and savasana (the final resting pose). Yoga students are encouraged to work at their own level, to honour their body and their limitations and to go deeper when needed. Levels 2-3 is a class for intermediate students wanting to take their practice to the next level. Karin

Karin's classes at any level focuses on staying connected to the inner self with an emphasis on breath work, core strength, muscle toning and improvement in coordination and balance.Her enthusiasm is infectious as she inspires others to explore this remarkable practice. Karin's classes are inspiring, challenging and full of positive energy.

6:00 PM - 7:15 PM Economy $10 Reduced Heat HathaThis is a vinyasa class taught in a semi-heated room. The heat will provide for a detoxifying sweat while you flow through a dynamic sequence of postures following your breath. Reduced rate at $10, this class is open level and for everyone with or without Yoga Tree membership. No reservation is required. Class is based on a first come first serve basis. TBA
