  • What will happen on the first Massage Therapy visit?
  • Your initial visit will include a confidential assessment of your health history. The Massage Therapist will assess your individual needs as well as any contributing factors to your injury to then develop an appropriate treatment plan.

  • Do I have to remove my clothes for my Massage Therapy treatment?
  • Massage Therapists can provide treatment whether you choose to remove any, some, or all of your clothing. Your comfort level and ability to relax are integral to effective treatment. All therapists are trained in proper draping procedures to ensure your privacy is respected at all times.

  • Is Massage Therapy covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP)?
  • While Massage Therapy is not covered under OHIP, most private insurance companies cover treatment from a Registered Massage Therapist as part of their extended health care plans. Please consult your extended health benefit plan policy.

  • Do the therapists accept gratuities?
  • We aim to provide an experience that is as stress-free as possible. For this reason, we do not accept gratuities. The best reward for our Massage Therapists is your return and referrals.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?
  • At Yoga Tree Studios, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy at our Wellness Center. If you are unable to provide the required notice, you will be charged in full for the missed appointment.

  • What if I'm running late for my appointment?
  • If you arrive late for your appointment, we will try our best to accommodate your full booking. However, if that is not feasible, you will be billed for the full cost of the original booking.
