Bringing you an authentic yoga experience, the classes are available in progressive levels and led by a high calibre of trained professionals. After checking in and kicking off your shoes in the lounge area, you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea in our lounge before heading into one of our spacious studio rooms. Yoga Tree offers a variety of yoga ranging from Hot yoga, Reduced heat (set at 28 degree), Hatha, Restorative to Iyengar.

    Begins Monday January 16th!

    New Year Yoga Detox Workshop with Dr.Jodi Larry

    Ease into 2012 with a cleansed body and mind. This detox workshop consists of combination of special vinyasa flow sequences, kriyas, breathing exercises and guided meditations that will help you rid those holiday excesses.

    It all begins with a 1 hour talk from nutritional therapist, Dr.Jodi Larry including: great tasting detox recipes, followed by a 1.5 hour yoga detox session, designed to cleanse the digestive system and leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized. All levels are welcome.

    Date: Saturday January 28th 1:00pm-3:30pm

    Location: Yoga Tree Midtown

    Fee: $45 plus HST (the cost of this program can be covered under your insurance health benefits for naturopathic medicine)

Jason’s steady pace, creative sequencing, and attention to detail encourage students to move slowly, deeply, and mindfully into their bodies.

    Take a class from Jason and you will leave feeling grounded, clear, and content—and more informed of the nuances and habits of your body and mind. Jason credits his primary teacher, Rodney Yee, teachers in the Iyengar Yoga tradition such as Ramanand Patel, and ongoing studies in Eastern and Western philosophy for inspiring to him bring greater alignment and mindfulness to vinyasa yoga.

    Learning to Lift with Lightness
    Hosted By Mark Morra This workshop will focus on the Ashtanga technique of jumping back and forth from both sitting and standing positions. In Ashtanga yoga, Vinyasa-krama is the practice of putting a fixed order of postures together by using a specific movement-breathing technique. This workshop will take a playful, in-depth look at how Ashtanga Yoga uses Vinyasa to stabilize in the mind and body. It will emphasize correct alignment techniques for safety and cultivate core strength for balancing and learning to lift with lightness.

    Valentine's Partner Workshop
    Celebrate Valentine's Day in a healthy, creative way with Thai Yoga Massage and Acro Yoga! D2YOGA is a new form of partner yoga which blends Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage and Acro Yoga together into one dynamic experience. D2YOGA is a fun, therapeutic and accessible way to deepen your yoga practice with the help of a friend or a loved one. All levels are welcome (even brand new beginners to yoga).

    Duncan has been teaching for 5 years with training in Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa, Classical Ashtanga and Anusara. Drew is a registered Thai Yoga therapist with IATM and enjoys sharing his love of science, yoga, massage, and body alignment. Together Duncan and Drew create a safe, knowledgeable, fun and light hearted atmosphere and enjoy sharing their unique style of partner yoga. No experience is necessary to attend! Come with a romantic partner or a friend who you care deeply about. Single participants are also welcomed!
