Terms of Membership, Packages & Retail Sales

1.⁠ ⁠Non–Auto-Renew Packages (Drop-In Classes & Class Cards)

Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, excludes any promotional offers and packages on sale. For promotional and discounted packages, terms and conditions will be stated on promotional material.

Automatically expire at the end of that period; unused classes are forfeited.

Not auto-renewing.

Payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

2.⁠ ⁠Auto-Renew Memberships & Packages (Recurring)

Any membership, service, or package explicitly described by Yoga Tree as “auto-renewing” is subject to the following Auto-Renew Terms and Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to:

Definition: If a product or service is identified at the time of purchase as “auto-renewing,” it will automatically renew and be billed on a recurring basis until cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

2.1 Billing & Recurring Charges

By starting your membership and providing a payment method, you authorize Yoga Tree to charge you for membership fees at the current rate, plus taxes or applicable fees. You acknowledge charges may vary due to promotions, gift cards, or changes in your plan, and you authorize us to bill your payment method for such amounts, which may occur in one or more transactions.

2.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, in our sole discretion. Any changes will take effect in the next billing cycle following email notice.

2.3 Billing Cycle

Memberships are billed bi-weekly or monthly until cancelled.

Memberships are fully earned upon payment.

Billing dates may shift due to settlement issues, membership changes, or hold/vacation requests.

No refunds or credits for partial billing periods.

2.4 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. Following cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

2.5 Payment Methods

You are responsible for keeping valid payment details on file. If a charge fails, you remain liable for amounts owing and authorize us to continue billing. Additional fees from your payment provider are your responsibility.

2.6 Cancellation Policy

Requires a minimum 14 days’ notice prior to your next billing date.

Must be submitted using Yoga Tree’s official cancellation form (in-studio or online).

Valid only upon receiving email confirmation with a cancellation number.

No backdating permitted.

Late requests (less than 14 days) are subject to a $50 administrative fee.

Payments processed prior to confirmation are non-refundable.

2.7 Medical Holds – Doctor’s Notes

Valid only if submitted at the time of issue, via email, with written confirmation of receipt from Yoga Tree.

Backdated medical notes are not accepted, and members are required to adhere to the cancellation policy if they wish to cancel by submitting a cancellation form along with proof of cancellation confirmation number.

No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be issued for any period before the confirmed submission date.

Members remain financially responsible until documentation is properly submitted and confirmed.

2.8 Payment Authorization & No Chargebacks

By signing up for any membership, class package, or promotional offer, you expressly authorize Yoga Tree to charge your payment method for all agreed-upon fees.

All fees are final and non-refundable, including charges resulting from failure to cancel correctly.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks with your financial institution for authorized charges, except where required by law.

Attempting to dispute valid charges constitutes a breach of this agreement and may result in administrative/legal fees and termination of services.

Refunds, if approved, will only be processed back to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase.

Under no circumstances will Yoga Tree issue refunds by alternative means, including but not limited to cash, cheque, e-transfer, store credit, or applying refunds to a different credit card or account.

The purchaser is solely responsible for maintaining an active and valid payment method. If the original payment method is closed, expired, or otherwise unavailable, the client acknowledges that Yoga Tree is under no obligation to provide the refund through another channel.

By completing a purchase, you expressly agree and acknowledge that the sole and exclusive method of refund (if applicable) is reversal to the original credit card or payment method.

2.9 Confirmation

By enrolling, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. You acknowledge your responsibility for all charges incurred and waive any right to chargeback or reverse payment for services rendered or for failure to cancel properly.
